The AtoZ Challenge - Are you signing up this year?

So who's ready for the AtoZChallenge 2015? Sign ups start soon :).

For those who don't know, the AtoZChallenge is a huge blog hop that runs all the way through April. Every day in April except for Sundays, those signed up make a post inspired by a letter of the alphabet. For example, this year A will be on a Wednesday because April 1st falls on that day.

Soph and I are entering with 4 blogs this year.

Tasha's Thinkings (this blog) - which I will be doing on my own
Sophie's Thoughts and Fumbles - which Soph will be doing on her own
Fantasy Boys 3X - which we will be doing together
Wittegen Press Blog - which we will also be doing together

We've been working on the themes, but they even have a mini-hop to do a theme reveal nearer the time, so I won't tell you what we're going to do this year :).

Never fear, however, there will be plenty of free fiction and interesting titbits to read about.

It really helps to be prepared for the AtoZ rather than winging it day by day, hence the preparation. We like to use themes as well, although it's not compulsory, but we think it makes it more interesting.

This is a great way to find friends and fellow bloggers - I fully recommend it to anyone out there who blogs.

Are you doing the AtoZ this year? Have you chosen a theme yet?

  1. I debated whether or not to join this year. The only thing that comes to mind is writing another serial story, but it's hard to jump into the middle of one of those.

    1. Yep, that can be a problem, which is why I added other content as well when I did one of those last year. You could always do drabbles instead so each story is an individual ficlet.

  2. I'm eagerly waiting for sign ups. My theme is already picked so I just need to start writing the posts.

    1. I think most of the blogs I follow these days came through the AtoZ - it really is a wonderful fest for finding great people to follow :)

  4. I'll be signing up, I always do. The plan was to do flash fiction for my theme, but I have yet to write any of it...

    1. I have decided what my posts have to be, but haven't written any of them yet either :). I have created the blanks though ... does that count?

  5. Woohoo! I'm planning on signing up, though I've not yet nailed down the theme. I've got one in mind, I just need to look into it a bit more to see if it's something I think I can do. Was a lot of fun last year (a lot of work, too, but still fun), so I'm looking forward to doing it again.

    1. We did it with 3 last year - the name of the game is preparation, preparation, preparation :). This is only my 3rd year, but I have loved both of the previous 2 - so many wonderful people to meet.

  7. I am all in this year too!

And I'll be doing the A to Z of Vampires! But I am going to try very hard to NOT do exactly what you did last year.

    1. Yay :)
Good luck with the fanged ones :D I look forward to reading your posts.

Do you wanna do the supernatural sub ring again - my theme runs along those lines too, so we could set it up again. Hopefully there will be the theme reveal hop again too so we can find like minds.

    2. Supernatural thing again? Heck yes! I loved it last year.
I know others are doing a supernatural theme again too.
