Superhero Sacrifices

Sometimes a superhero has motives that are not always clear to those around them. Sometimes they are required to make sacrifices for those they care about. This is the fourth and final superhero micro fic of the week. Tomorrow this week's longer story comes out - perfect for listening over coffee or before bed.

Because I am doing the AtoZ this year, and I will be posting early in the day to catch as many visitors as possible, the current day's video will actually appear on the following day's post since the vids don't go live until 4pm. Terisa Simonds is a sheltered rich girl living in a world where those with money spend their days in luxury, without a care, as androids do all the work, while the poor struggle on, completely beneath their notice. First Terisa lost her best friend Laura, when Laura's family fell from grace as their money dried up, but now, Laura had gone missing.

Terisa's attempts to find her friend are about the throw her into a world of corporate greed, corruption, and technology's darkest secrets. If anyone finds out she knows the truth, she will be disappeared too.


There is also an eBook version of this story, and the book also contains all the micro stories from this week.
