AtoZChallenge 2020 - Vampire Drabbles

Hello again, and welcome to week 3 of the AtoZChallenge. I hope you are safe and well. This year I am posting vampire drabbles - that is a one hundred word story every day on the theme of vampires. Some are dark, some are funny and some are in between. Enjoy!

Q is for Quiet

"Do you know how long something like this takes to cover up?"

"Of course I do…"

"There is blood everywhere."

"I know…"

"At least you killed them all. You did kill them all, right?"

"Yes, I…"

"Satanic cult, no, that's been done too many times, maybe drug fuelled murder suicide. Do you know what they did for a living?"

"No, they just moved in…"

"Dammit. I'll get someone on that."

"Sorry, I didn't mean…"

"Why in hell did you do it?"

"The music…"

"Their taste offended you?"

"No, it was loud."

"Loud?"

"Yes, for thirty-six hours. I just needed quiet."

Thank you so much for visiting - drop your comments and links below - I try and visit back everyone I can.

Q.Have you ever had neighbours who played music too loud or had their TV way up all the time? Did you manage to do anything about it.

I've been lucky, most of my life I've lived in places with nice thick walls.

This year I am also taking part as my alter ego Virginia Waytes - all about the characters and setting for my new paranormal romance podcast and eBooks, Sexy Stories - The Manor. Check out today's post: Q is for Quickens

  1. Yes, you are lucky... Some people can not understand they are not alone in the world, and why, but why do you complain? They are free to do whatever they want. I can understand this vampire ;))

  2. Ever since my neighbors started watching daily mass on TV at home on full blast, I am starting to relate to this...

  3. Yes! I often wish I could zap cars that go by my house with the radio on full blast and playing misogenistic bs. Luckily it's not warm enough for that right now and I am safe because I have no near neighbors at the moment.

  4. A Popeye quote is coming to mind: "It's all I can stands. I can't stands no more!"

  5. 36 hours of loud music is too much to bear!
