The Horror of Shakespeare #5 - A Man Can Die But Once

Fountain pen with italic script in the background. Over the top are the words The Horror of Shakespeare and the quote "A Man Can Die But Once"

Every day in October I will be posting a horror/paranormal drabble (100 word story) inspired by a Shakespeare Quote.
🎃Hello all paranormal lovers, today we have werewolves! Happy drabbling.

A Man Can Die But Once

Liam woke up and felt cold metal on his bare behind.

"Bollocks!" was his distinct opinion on that.

Pulling the sheet from off his face, he found it was pitch black.

"Double bollocks!"

With a sigh he banged on the metal door above his head.

"Oh my god, you're alive," said the woman who opened it. "I'm going to get a doctor."

Liam sighed again and pushed his drawer open all the way as she fled. He hated waking up in the morgue. His hero complex was becoming a real problem. Unfortunately, sometimes even werewolf bodies needed time to regenerate.

If anyone would like to join in, please do!

    1. LOL - I doubt the pursuee cared, given in both cases it's large and has big teeth ;)
