I can't...Glad you gave writing a second chance. I can't exactly say I got a second chance at writing itself, but being a professional writer, yes. I have written since I was able to and I wrote my first 'book', I use that term loosely, when I was 11. However, when I was at secondary school and uni, I concentrated on science and engineering, because I'm a practical person and I knew I could get a job in those fields. I therefore relegated my arty side to amateur things, including fanfic. Then, a year ago, I was made redundant and I decided that I would grab the opportunity and use some of my package to fund time for me to become a full time author. <br /><br />I'm working as a project manager again now, but that 9 months of totally dedicated writing time has allowed me to expand my portfolio and I have chosen to be employed by someone else only half of my time. The rest of the time, I'm writing professionally and loving it!
